For years, radiology students and technologists have faced the same challenge: not enough time in the clinic. Many point to hands-on clinical experience as their biggest weak spot—an area where they want more practice, more feedback, and more confidence.
That’s exactly the gap the Center for Radiology Education set out to fill. And when they needed to equip their new training facility, they turned to Brown’s Medical Imaging / Prestige Medical Imaging (BMI-PMI) to help make the vision a reality.
The Center’s mission is clear: provide students and technologists with access to advanced equipment and real-world training in a supportive environment. But to do that, they needed a partner who could source and install state-of-the-art imaging systems across modalities.
BMI-PMI stepped in with the expertise, equipment, and service needed to launch the Center. From X-ray rooms and C-arms to ultrasound and digital imaging solutions, our team worked alongside the Center to design training suites that replicate true clinical environments.
Thanks to this partnership, students entering the Center don’t just walk into classrooms—they step into imaging suites that mirror what they’ll encounter in hospitals and clinics. With real machines at their fingertips, they can practice positioning, troubleshoot issues, and build confidence long before stepping into a patient care setting.
BMI-PMI also ensured the Center had access to modalities not always available in traditional schools, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and mammography. Combined with flexible online coursework, the Center now offers the perfect balance of accessibility and quality.
The Center for Radiology Education is more than a facility—it’s a launchpad for the next generation of imaging professionals. And BMI-PMI is proud to have played a role in bringing it to life.
