Curved paddles provide more even compression for a faster, more effective breast exam, and the system completes a full 3D tomosynthesis scan in just 3.7 seconds. Because the scan is so fast, there’s little need for repeat images due to patient movement.
SmartCurve breast stabilization and the FAST paddle system conform to the breast’s natural contours, providing more even compression and added comfort. Compression time is reduced as well, further minimizing patient discomfort, and dose is reduced by at least 45 percent compared to 2D imaging.

The face shield retracts for easier positioning and remains stationary during 3D imaging, so patients hold the same posture as a standard 2D exam.
